Vidyut Jamwal starer JUNGLEE relased on 29th of March. Made up on Indian Backdrop directed by Hollywood director " Chuck Russell " making curious to viewers upto some extent.
Junglee is the story of Raj Nair ( Vidyut Jamwal ) who resides in city and veterinary doctor by profession. After ten years Raj Nair goes to his hoe town in Orissa for his mother's rituals.His father runs a sanctuary to protect Elephants in Orissa. A journalist named Meera played by Asha Bhat is willing to right an article on Raj's Father work for sanctuary also reaches to the Orissa by following Raj Nair. To support Raj Father's work Raj's Childhood friend Shankara played by Pooja Sawant stay with them along with forest officer Dev.
Raj seems to be very happy after meeting his childhood Elephant friends Bhola and Didi but his was not aware that their sanctuary is been stalked by Hunters. Hunter played by Atul Kulkarni worked for Foreign Elephant Dentine trafficker destroy forest in search on Elephant Dentine treasure.He kills Raj's father and Elephant's leader Bhola, and then story revolves around " will Raj saves Elephant ? will he able to take revenge of his father's murder and elephant ? to get this answer you have to watch the film.
Talking about performances Vidyut Jamwal seems to be thoroughly moulded in his character. He worked very passionately as kalaripayattu warrior. Action scenes for which Vidyut is famous for are also very well executed in the film,together he successfully portrayed the emotional scenes. Asha Bhat looks very cute in the film while Pooja Sawant looks confident while playing the character. Atul Kulkarni did his best as a Villain.
Talking about Direction Chuck Russell well known for his Hollywood Superhits " The Mask , Scorpion King, Eraser " debuting in Bollywood and seems he understand the Bollywood viewers needs. Cinematography will give you visual treat with Forest Greeneries, Rivers and animal life in Orissa. About weak point of the film, it is none another than a typical Bollywood Marsala film,music is not that great,but suits according to the story line
The Film is totally dedicated to Vidyut Jamwal he performed extraordinary action scenes which may be we have not seen in his other film.
